Our Mission

At Ifemeluigbo Cultural Creative Arts, our mission is to uphold the importance of Igbo traditional play and dance in children's development. We aim to address the lack of research on Igbo play and dance in Western play theories and counter the effects of modernization on the preservation of Igbo cultural play.

Qualifications

Ifemelumma's expertise in the field of developmental and therapeutic play, combined with her commitment to inclusivity and diversity, makes her a highly motivated and compassionate leader in the BAME charitable sector. She understands the importance of traditional Igbo play and dance for children's development and is dedicated to promoting these cultural practices.

Furthermore, with the rise in migration in recent years, Ifemelumma recognizes the significance of preserving traditional cultural practices to support children's well-being in diverse communities.
