About Ifemelumma

Ifemelumma Nweri, a dedicated caseworker at a BAME charitable organisation, is a key figure in Nganga Igbo Performing Arts. Her commitment to her Igbo culture and dance is truly commendable. She has effectively translated her passion into academic achievement by obtaining an MA in Developmental and Therapeutic Play from Swansea University. Ifemelumma staunchly advocates for the role of cultural play and dance in children's development, striving to foster inclusivity and diversity within her organisation. As the leader of Nganga, a dynamic cultural performance group, and the founder of Ifemeluigbo dance,  Ifemelumma has been actively engaged in various cultural events across Wales. Her involvement extends to coordinating and participating in dance events in schools across the Eastern Region of Nigeria and delivering dance performances with her group throughout the UK.  Ifemelumma's unwavering dedication and exceptional Igbo cultural choreographic talent have undoubtedly made a lasting impression, with her accomplishments solidifying her status as a respected and influential figure in the realm of cultural performance, both locally and internationally.
